I have my favorite spot in Santa Fe! It might not be right in the city but not too far. For some people, it might be a hike at Atalaya or walking on the Plaza, perhaps Canyon Road, the patio at Sena Plaza or Hyde Park at the Ski Basin but for me it's La Bajada. When I leave town and I get to La Bajada, my trip begins at that moment. When I'm coming back and I'm at the height of La Bajada...I'm home! It's a beautiful view of the landscape. To the right, you see the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and further back is the City of Santa Fe. To the left, you can see the gorgeous openness of the land, and a lot of the time I enjoy the spectacular sunsets. I have experienced this view countless times. In the last few weeks, I've been under a lot of stress. I don't like saying that because we all experience "stress". Sometimes the stress is good, helps keep us on our toes, and sometimes stress is bad, it depletes you of your ability to think or react clearly.
